- Shanghai Me opens in July on the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane
- The restaurant is the latest venture by one of the World’s fastest-growing luxury Hospitality Groups, Fundamental Hospitality, which is also behind acclaimed Made in Dubai concepts Gaia London and La Maison Ani London
- The 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane has enjoyed a 60 year reputation as one of the capital’s most fashionable venues, hosting the likes of the Beatles in the 1960s before evolving into celebrated Michelin star restaurant Galvin at Windows in the early noughties
Dubai – June 17, 2025: This summer, London’s culinary and cultural landscape will see the arrival of a landmark dining destination, Shanghai Me, opening on the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane. Marking a new era for the legendary panoramic venue, the opening is the latest by acclaimed ‘Made in Dubai’ hospitality group Fundamental Hospitality and is set to redefine rooftop dining and entertainment in the capital with panoramic views, Pan Asian culinary excellence, and experience driven dining.

Evgeny Kuzin, Chairman and Founder of Fundamental Hospitality, comments:
“Bringing Shanghai Me to London is a huge moment for us and I am excited to be reviving a Mayfair icon. The 28th floor or the London Hilton on Park Lane has long been one of the city’s most celebrated landmarks and we are now looking to apply our signature approach to evolve the venue into a vibrant dining and entertainment destination.”
Situated on the 28th floor of London Hilton on Park Lane, Shanghai Me breathes new life into a rooftop that has defined luxury for over six decades. Built in 1963, the London Hilton on Park Lane was not only the first skyscraper hotel in London, but also the tallest building in the City at the time.
The rooftop has played host to royalty, rockstars and revolutionaries in both cuisine and nightlife – from its original incarnation as the first Traders Vic’s (which dominated the London social scene for decades) to Swinging Sixties soirées and Beatles meetups to Michelin-starred restaurants, it has continuously drawn a high-end crowd. This historic site now welcomes its newest chapter: Shanghai Me, a dining concept born in Dubai and inspired by the golden era of 1930s Shanghai, a time when East met West in glamour, sophistication, and artistry.

A View with History
Since 2006, the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane has offered more than just breathtaking views – it has been a stage for refined culinary experiences and unforgettable city moments. From intimate dinners at the previous Michelin-starred restaurant to celebratory New Year’s Eve toasts high above the city, the rooftop has quietly built its own legacy – one of timeless elegance, exceptional hospitality and skyline storytelling.
Now, with the arrival of Shanghai Me, this historic view is reimagined through the lens of modern Asian luxury. Ushering in a new era where London’s most iconic rooftop becomes the capital’s most captivating dining destination, the rooftop space embraces contemporary Asian luxury, transporting guests into a world where elegance and energy converge
The space once occupied by Galvin at Windows and 10 Degrees bar has undergone a meticulous transformation. Where once stood French haute cuisine, now rises an immersive, Pan-Asian celebration, with Shanghai Me promising not just dining, but storytelling.
The Culinary Journey
Led by Chef Izu Ani, the creative mind behind celebrated concepts like GAIA and La Maison Ani, and Chef Yukitaka Kitade, Shanghai Me’s global culinary ambassador, the kitchen blends tradition with modern refinement. Together, they bring traditional Asian culinary techniques, Chinese richness, and Southeast Asian creative flair to the menu.
Highlights include:
- Yellowtail Carpaccio with Black Truffle
- Cantonese Roast Duck with Foie Gras & Caviar
- Spicy Bluefin Tuna Oshizushi
- Braised Beef Short Rib – Shanghai Style
Each dish is composed with intention, blending artistry, premium ingredients, and cultural depth.
A New Era for Mayfair Nights
With seating for 120 guests and two opulent private dining rooms offering uninterrupted views from Hyde Park to the Thames, the venue has been reimagined for every type of occasion—from milestone celebrations to late-night escapes. Guests can also descend into Bund, an intimate bar and lounge within Shanghai Me, where signature cocktails flow and DJs set the tone until the early hours.
Where Past Meets Present, and Future Icons Are Made
With every course, every cocktail, and every sunset view, Shanghai Me London honours the legacy of the Hilton rooftop – once graced by legends, now reborn for a new generation of tastemakers.
