United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 14 December 2022: Beside the top prize winner of AED 10,000,000, whose details will be revealed soon at an official press conference, Mahzooz’s 106th Super Saturday Draws which took place on December 10th, 2022, celebrated 19 winners who shared the second prize of AED 1 million, 1,175 winners who bagged the third prize of AED 350 each and 3 raffle draw winners who went home AED 100,000 richer each.
The AED 1 million winners truly represent the UAE population mix and come from all walks of life. Syrian dermatologist, Emirati government employee, Lebanese retiree, Filipino medical technician and Pakistani driver have all become AED 52,631 richer each after matching four out of five numbers and bagging the second prize.
Ajman-based Shoaib who has been working in the UAE for the past 21 years is one of the three raffle winners. The Pakistani free-lancer who has lost his job during the pandemic, plans to use the prize money to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Umrah and to buy a plot of land in Pakistan. “The UAE has changed my life in many ways I cannot explain. Over the past 21 years, through my work at a restaurant here I was able to extend a better life to my family and provide a better education for my children” says the father of four.
As for Filipino national, Noredeen, he watches the Mahzooz show live on his mobile, every week, as he participates in Mahzooz almost every week in the hope of winning. “My plans on how to use the new prize money are still unclear. I know for sure that a large sum of it will be saved for my baby daughter’s future” says the 37-year-old who works as a driver for a family in the UAE.
For Shaikh, a Bur Dubai based hotel chef, the raffle money will be invested in a new private business but a small part of it will be used to purchase a new bicycle for daily commute. “When I called my wife back home to share the good news with her, she got very emotional and decided to come visit me here in Dubai with our son. I am very grateful for 2022 for this wonderful opportunity. This is all thanks to Mahzooz,” said the Indian winner.
Like Shoaib, Noredeen, Shaikh and the rest of the winners, entrants can participate in Mahzooz by registering via www.mahzooz.ae and purchasing a bottle of water for AED 35, which enables them to enter multiple draws, the Fantastic Friday Epic Draw and the Super Saturday Draws, by choosing two different set of numbers. The Super Saturday Draws require participants to pick 5 out of 49 numbers for a chance to win the top prize of AED 10,000,000, the second prize of AED 1,000,000, or the third prize of AED 350. Participants will also be automatically entered into the raffle draw in which three guaranteed winners will each receive AED 100,000.
The new Fantastic Friday Epic Draw requires participants to choose 6 numbers out of 39 for a chance to win AED 10,000,000 for no additional participation fee.
