Aggreko expands Middle East fleet with new Stage V oil-free air compressor

New compressor combines Class 0 certified oil-free air, Stage V engine technology and fuel flexibility for critical applications across the region

September 9 2026: Aggreko Middle East has expanded its fleet with the introduction of its new Stage V 1550 cfm Oil-Free Air (OFA) Compressor. The new unit combines certified oil-free air, lower-emission engine technology and greater fuel flexibility, giving businesses across the region a reliable solution for demanding compressed air applications.Now available in the Middle East, the new air compressor has been developed for some of the region’s most demanding operating environments, where the quality of compressed air can have a direct impact on process integrity, productivity and equipment performance. The technology is designed to provide a dependable source of high-quality compressed air in applications where reliability, air purity and uninterrupted operation are essential.

For applications where compressed air comes into direct or indirect contact with critical processes or products, even trace amounts of oil can present a contamination risk. Aggreko’s new system delivers 100% oil-free air certified to ISO 8573-1 Class 0, the highest recognised standard for air purity, helping businesses protect critical processes and product quality without compromising on performance.

The new compressor also brings Stage V engine technology to Aggreko’s oil-free air offering in the region, reducing regulated engine emissions including nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC). With the flexibility to run on diesel, HVO or biofuel, it gives businesses a lower-emission option while maintaining the reliability required for continuous and critical operations.

Built for demanding environments, the Stage V OFA Compressor delivers airflow of up to 1550 cfm (44 m³/min) and operating pressures of up to 10 bar, with high ambient operating capability suited to conditions across the region.The technology is particularly relevant to critical industries across the Middle East, including oil and gas, petrochemicals and refining, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and utilities. In these environments, compressed air can be integral to production, maintenance and process operations, making air purity and equipment reliability essential. Aggreko Remote Management (ARM) provides 24/7 monitoring of key system data, helping optimise performance, identify potential issues early and reduce the risk of unplanned downtime. Combined with its portable design, these capabilities give Aggreko the flexibility to support a broad range of compressed air applications across the region.
