 We have all been waiting for the end of the scorching summer and it looks like fair UAE weather is right around the corner. Soon, the terrace overlooking the shimmering waters at Al Maryah Island will re-open, offering an idyllic setting for 99’s MICHELIN Star cuisine. In Dubai, 99 Lounge is also ready to welcome patrons with its breathtaking views of the Dubai Fountains, and Burj Khalifa on the edge of your seat.

To celebrate, the award-winning team at 99 have elaborated a new OMAKASE BUSINESS LUNCH, featuring 8 dishes from the repertoire of haute Japanese cuisine, at AED 169 including coffee. This season, new Head Sommelier Alba Torres has worked along side Culinary Director Ruben Guerrero and Head Chef Thinus Van Der Westhuizen, to offer the very best alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage pairings.

Patrons will surely appreciate the generous lunch dishes, featuring 99’s winning opening trio of Hosomaki, Kobe Edamame and Capumiso Soup, a tradition in the making. Then, a crunchy Baby Squid Tempura makes its way to the table, followed by a roll-it-yourself Japanese Taco with Toro and Smoked Beef, evolving into a Sea Bass Flambé Nigiri with Truffle Sauce and lastly, for the finish, 99’s perfectly cooked Skirt Steak with Potato Leeks. At lunchtime, half portions of our signature cocktails are available for a low-alcohol option, too.

Always keen to enhance the dining experience at 99, the team have also revisited the 12-course AKI MENU, with the same attention to perfect mocktail and grape harmonies: AED 1149 net per couple AED 1999 net per couple, with a bottle of French bubbles – AED 2999 net per couple; with a bottle of premium French bubbles. This Fall season, it is a runway of the most refined creations that the 99 Chefs have designed, from the signature Tuna Tataki, to the Oyster Tempura, Wagyu Tartar over Bone Marrow, Sea Urchin Tempura, Foie & Maguro Zuke, Smoked Spanish Eel, Toro Gunkan, fiery Robata Corn-Fed Chicken and last but not least, the melting Chocolate Fondant!
