Maritime industry gets into the swing of things at TMS Golf Classic

21st March 2023, Dubai, UAE: A full house of 72 golfers, teeing off simultaneously, shotgun-style at each hole, took part in this year’s TMS Golf Classic at the Trump International Golf Club in Dubai on March 16th. The event proved to be a great success with leading figures in UAE shipping and maritime enjoying the chance to network, and have fun, at one of the country’s best golf courses.

The day started off with a practice session at the driving range, with golfers getting the challenge of hitting an AD Ports Group’s branded ‘gong’, before enjoying a late breakfast and refreshments. Then in the afternoon guests played the course with each hole having a special ’activity’ thanks to the generous sponsors.

Competition was tough, and the eventual winners of the Texas Scramble format competition were Anders Kron, Ramesh Nagaraju and Rajvin Dave Singh. First runners up were a team comprising Dheeraj Sharma, Pranav Vora, Dheeraj Bhatia and Capt. Sumit Chauhan; while the second runners up were Julian Skyrme, Richard Strub, Gustavo Ferreira Da Costa and Tim Haas.
